Well, it was celebration time again! Our company – Ishika Technologies Pvt. ltd. stepped into a glorious 2nd year!. We knew celebrations were awaiting us but that it would turn out to be such a warm, memorable and wonderful day, was a real pleasant surprise. Despite the fact that it was terribly hot we were fully excited from the morning itself.

We were supposed to leave from office at around 1:30 pm for lunch and then a movie at City Centre. However before we left we had a cake cutting ceremony at office, which showered a whole lot of surprises for us! There was a Lucky Draw whch churned such wonderful prizes. Namely, the first prize was a 3 days holiday with 2 nights Digha trip in 1st class AC bus and hotel fare upto Rs 2000. Second and 3rd Prizes were 3 days and 2 days leaves with dinner / lunch with the CEO of the company. Apart from these, there were cheques for good attendance and punctuality as well. Moreover none of us were losers from the Lucky Draw as we were all gifted with a one day leave and a lovely glass bowl set. Mind you, all these were exclusive of the film and the lunch!

Beating the scorching heat, next all the ‘Ishikites’ finally reached City Centre. We were all so excited that the most simple ride in auto to the City centre also seemed to of great fun. It was time for lunch. The beautiful A’afra with its bird’s eye view of Kolkata was where we went for lunch. We relished not only a picturesque view but also a lavish buffet. A minute’s talk on the day and the organization was first over the lunch table. It added to the solemnity of the day. Then everyone started with the lunch or rather all broke loose! We had great fun not only gathering our lunch but also while eating it. We were thrilled as what to eat and what not as the list of food was quite long and some were out of our knowledge. We laughed so much and there were so many funny comments all around, that I remember dropping my fork twice. From true meaning of the words I think we were all like free birds, under one roof, captivated by the same jolly enthusiasm. Of course all this was accompanied by frequent photo sessions in normal as well as funny poses!

Next it was time for the movie. The “Prince of Persia” with his bravery and super heroic skills jumped from one roof to another and made us stare in awe. Though our expert comments behold that the story lacked a proper script but it was enough to hold us through the 2 hr long show in the comfortable chair of the cool Inox theatre. The action packed movie ended and from there we came back to office to collect our gifts and then move for home. The day finally came to an end for us. I can only say it was such a fulfilling experience and everything was so carefully taken care of by our CEO (Mr. Manoj Jain) that it will remain as one of the most memorable days of my life more of which I eagerly await in the coming years as well. We were like one family all weaved in together. More clearly, birds of same feather flocking together. We all wish a long and prosperous future to our 2nd home ” Ishika Techologies” hoping to be a part and parcel of all its golden moments for years to come. Long Live Ishika and may sky be your limit!.

This day was the most awaited event for all of us. Tara Da nd Pratik Bhaiya also joined us which added to the delight. We celebrated first in the office with the cake. Mr. Manoj Jain (CEO) announced prizes for the punctuality nd other stuffs where Sanjoy Da nd Nishi were the lucky ones to grab away all the prizes. Then Sir organised lunch for us at Afraa. The place was really cool and perfect for the occasion. We were asked to share our experiences in Ishika. Everyone stated that Ishika is now our family And we r very grateful to be associated with it. After a few more speeches, gentle ribbing and guffaws it was time for some soft/hard drinks and the munchies. Then we went for a movie Prince of Persia. The day was really the most memorable one. It brought out the feelings of being one with the organization. I feel i m very lucky to have got to work with such a rockstar team which is 200% technologically savvy. This day brought us further closer to each other and we are really looking forward for next office event.

Here goes some lines for our Manoj Sir

We really appreciate you,
Your helpful, giving ways,
And how your generous heart
Your unselfishness displays.

We thank you for your kindness,
We will never forget;
You’re one of the nicest people
We have ever met.

Well I’m novice in Corporate World, so this was quite an experience for me. Our CEO Mr.Manoj Jain organised a lunch cum movie party as part of the celebration on the eve of Annual day of the company.I stepped in kolkata the same morning and wasn’t feeling quite well so I was in a dilemma should I join this party or let it go ? Then I couldn’t resist the idea of joining the party afterall it was my first experience of this kind. So I went to the office moments ago the celebrations started as some V.V.I.P guest…

Then we cut the cake and there was a lucky draw and more prizes were there to be given….Miss Nishi and Mr.Sanjoy Da literally looted all the prizes which were at stock and we were left with a consolation prize of 1 day holiday. Then we were off to A’afra for lunch. As soon as we stepped out of the office our CEO Mr.Manoj was a changed person, joking around with us which added to the fun and enjoyment. We had the never ending lunch in A’afra and finally bid gudbye to it. Our next destination was right across Inox where we had a date with Prince of Persia (i mean the female counterparts) and for the boys it was Princess of Alamus.Being a die hard fan of Prince of Persia-the game i was waiting for ages to watch this movie. As the movie started I was so enthusiastic that I can’t express it in words. In the meantime our CEO had to leave…i guess he didn’t like the movie.

But we sat there till the end, and as I thought we were mesmerized with the action sequences in the movie.

Finally the credits rolled and we had to come out of there. The fun and enjoyment ended but not our thirst for enjoyment. Hope that we get a chance for the same soon enough.

Last but not the least this day will not have been possible without them. Hats off to all the members of Ishika. Company is not about individuals, its about individuals working as a team. This Ishika team is working hard to get Ishika into new heights and create wonderful memories for us.

For in those memories we live on…….
